2. Current Magic Player Scholarships:
We have set up a player scholarship fund for "Magic" membership. This award will be given based on family need. It is geared towards identifying players in our area who possess talent and potential, but do not have the financial resources to join our program. We awarded this scholarship for the first time this year and the recipient's family has been notified.
For this program to continue to serve young women, we will need help from you, the Metro Magic families. There are two ways you can get involved:
1. Help us to reach out to these players. Look around your neighborhoods and schools for those special young girls who would most benefit from involvement in a program such as this. Next year, we will have forms available for them to apply for this scholarship through a review committee.
2. The second way to help is financial. The fund will need to continue to grow to be available each year. If you are interested in donating specifically to this scholarship, please contact Frank Speno - email
