Mary-Lynne McKee
Mary-Lynne McKee is the owner and director of Metro Lacrosse Club. She is also currently the head coach of the "Magic"rising sophomore team. Coach McKee has been nationally recognized for her work with young women in the game of lacrosse over many years. A former high school coach of 19 All-Americans, she amassed a win-loss record of 226-23-7, and numerous championships in her fourteen years at Suffern High School (1984-1997). During that time, additional coaching assignments included; Empire State Games (two years as head coach of the Adirondack team and one year with Hudson Valley), US Lacrosse Youth Festival coach; and US Lacrosse National Tournament Team coach for seven summers. Coach McKee is the first woman to be inducted into the Hudson Valley Lacrosse Hall of Fame. She holds a BS in Physical Education and Health, and received her Masters in P.E./Coaching and Administration from Montclair State University. Using her strong background in sports mechanics, she developed the highly successful "Apex" instructional programs with "Super Sticks" and "Super Shots" programs training players year round. She is the mother of four children and grandmother of three. Coach McKee founded the Metro Lacrosse Club in 1999.

Bonnie Sullivan
(rising senior coach and college liaison)
Bonnie Sullivan graduated Suffern High School as an All-American only to continue as a four year starter at George Mason University. Graduating in 1999 with All-American and 1st team All-CAA honors, Bonnie moved into coaching giving two years to James Madison University, reaching the Final Four in the 2000 NCAA Tournament, losing to Princeton in the semi-finals. She coached 5 collegiate All-Americans on that team. Her 2001 James Madison squad were CAA champions and lost by 1 goal to UMD in the quarter-finals of the NCAA tournament. Coach Sullivan played for the Maryland Thunder, the first professional women's lacrosse exhibition game in 2001 at the Capital Center in Washington, D.C. She currently works per diem at New York Presbyterian Hospital Cornell as a registered nurse on the labor & delivery unit. Bonnie has been a prominent part of the Metro staff since 1999. Coach Sullivan resides in Suffern, New York with her husband Dan, their children Caiden, Nevin and a little one on the way.

Carter Abbott
Current U.S. U19 women's national team assistant coach Carter Abbott; a player at Princeton University, where she was a first-year starter on the 1994 NCAA Division I national championship squad. Carter had a stellar career for the Tigers, including three first team All-Ivy League selections, two first team All-America selections, and was named the Ivy League Player of the year in her senior year in 1997. She was also a member of the U.S. women's developmental team (1995-96).
Abbott is active in various roles of US Lacrosse serving as Women's Division National Tournament (WDNT) selector, was a member of the All-American selection committee, and was a presenter at the 2005 US Lacrosse National Convention. In 2010 US Lacrosse New Jersey Chapter Hall of Fame inducted Carter Abbott for her many achievements. She has been a high school coach for 12 seasons and hit her 100th career win in 2008. Abbott will be coaching Metro 2012 team in the 2011 season.


Kelly Lephart
(coach of Metro Magic rising junior team)
Kelly Lephart graduated Niskayuna High School as an All-American lacrosse player and continued her career as a four year starter at George Mason University, graduating in 2000. Her collegiate playing honors include National Academic All- American and co-captain her senior year while helping guide her team to a top 15 ranking. Post college Kelly coached for two years at Colorado College while receiving her Masters in Education. She helped lead Colorado College to their second appearance in the NCAA tournament while coaching five players to All-American status. Kelly has a passion for the game and continues to coach at various camps through out the country. Kelly has been an integral part of Metro for the past five years in the office and out on the field. Kelly's knowledge and appreciation for the game of lacrosse is invaluable. Kelly resides in Niskyayuna with her husband & former professional hockey player Mike Lephart, and their children Chloe and Riley.

Hilary Renna
A former Metro player, Hilary graduated from Mountain Lakes High School in 2005. At Mountain Lakes she captained both her lacrosse and soccer teams. Hilary continued her lacrosse career at the University of Pennsylvania where she was a four year starter on defense. She graduated from Penn in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree Psychology. Her collegiate playing honors include First Team All-American, First Team All-Ivy, All-Tournament selection, and Tewaarton Award Nominee. Hilary helped lead her team to 3 Ivy League Championship titles and 3 Final Four appearances.

Betsy Economou
Over the past two decades, Betsy Economou has enjoyed extraordinary success in the sport of lacrosse - both as a player and as a coach. The passion and energy she brought to the field as a star high school and collegiate player has helped shape her identity as an extremely successful coach - enjoying unparalleled success as the high school, collegiate, and club levels.
As a high school player, she was voted State of Maryland's High School Athlete of the year, as well as the State's Lacrosse Player of the Year, in 1990. As a college performer, Betsy led the Loyola Greyhounds to two Final Fours in her four years, earning All-American honors for her stellar play.
As a coach, Betsy has excelled in every role she has held. As a high school varsity coach at Greenwich High School, she captured the school's first-ever state championship, with an 18-2 mark that year. As the head coach of Davidson College, she guided the Wildcats to their best mark in school history, finishing 12-4 in her final season. Additionally, she led her national club program, Impact 360, to unprecedented levels of success - on and off the field of play.
In addition to her prowess as a coach, Betsy is a strength and conditioning specialist and nutritional advisor. Moreover, she earned her MBA from Loyola College and has served in several corporate capacities as well. Finally, she is married to Greg Economou, Executive Vice President of Madison Square Garden, and is the mother of three boys, Rip - 12, Luke - 9, and AJ - 6.

Lisa Savage Negvesky

Lisa Savage Negvesky is a former Metro player, and member of the Lakeland/Panas Varsity lacrosse team where she was a four year All-Section and All-League player, and was named All-American as a senior. She was also a recipient of the Con Edison Scholar-Athlete Award her junior year. Lisa continued her career at Rutgers University, where she was a 2 time co-captain of the Scarlet Knights lacrosse team. In 2005 she was inducted to the National College Athlete Honor SocietySavage was also a two time recipient of the IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll and was also named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star for three straight years. Lisa was a graduate assistant for the Scarlet Knights in 2006 due to a concussion that ended her playing career. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2005 with a BS in Psychology. She graduated from Rutgers Graduate School of Education in 2006 with a Masters in Special Education and Elementary Education. Lisa currently is a teacher in the Summit School District, NJ. She is also beginning her first year as the Varsity head coach for Kent Place School, Summit, NJ.

Virginia Crotty
Virginia graduated from Oak Knoll in 2007 where she was a four-year varsity letterwinner. At Oak Knoll, she was a two-time All-American, first team all-state, multiple year all-conference, all-division and all metro-choice, team MVP and captain. She also captained the varsity field hockey team where she was a four-year varsity player and first team all-state selection.  Before going to Duke, she was a member of the USA U-19 team that won the World Championship in 2007. Virginia continued to play attack at Duke where she was a two-year starter for the Blue Devils and was fifth in total points both years. She was named captain her senior season. Virginia majored in Sociology with a certificate in Markets and Management Studies. She was named onto the ACC-Academic Honor Roll. Virginia started as a metro lacrosse player when she was twelve years old and played all the way through until graduating in 2007. She was the recipient of the 2007 Metro Lacrosse Foundation scholarship.

Samantha Fontanella
Samantha Fontanella, a former METRO player, played goalie for Suffern High School located in Suffern, New York from 2005-2007 on the varsity roster. She was an All-American goalie in 2006 (first team) and 2007 (honorable mention). She also received all-county, all-league, and all-galaxy selection three times during her career at Suffern High School. She was a team captain as a senior and won three varsity letters. Samantha helped lead the team to a Section I championship as a sophomore. She played on the New York National team during 2005-2006 summer season. Samantha attended the University at Albany where she played during the 2007-2008 lacrosse season before ending her career because of injuries. Samantha graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College where she received her bachelors in Social Science and is now attending St. Thomas Aquinas College working towards receiving her masters in Special Education K-6. She still currently lives in Suffern and is working at Croton on the Hudson School District.

Lonnie Sarnell
Lonnie Sarnell is a former Metro player, and after graduating from Millburn High School in 2002, she went on to play lacrosse at Yale for four years. In 2005, she placed second in the NCAA with a 6.41 goals-against average; she also led the Ivy League in that category as well as save percentage (.592). As a senior, she was named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. Lonnie graduated from Yale in 2006 with a BA in psychology. She then spent one year as an assistant coach at Drew University and has continued to coach over the past several years by working with youth teams and individual goalies in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She currently attends La Salle University and is working toward a doctorate in clinical psychology, with a concentration in sport psychology.

Jen Crawford
(Coach of Metro Magic 2016 Team)
Jen Crawford graduated from Mountain Lakes high school as an all-conference lacrosse player and continued her career as a four year starter at Davidson College, graduating in May of 2010. Jen was a two-year Captain for the Davidson Wildcats, leading the team in both goals and assists for three years in a row, ultimately breaking the team's single season scoring record. Voted first team all conference, she helped lead the Wildcats to the National Lacrosse Conference finals. Jen began playing for Metro when she was 12 years old, and continues to give back to the program as a coach for the 2016 team. She lives in New York City and works in Premium Services for Madison Square Garden.

Abigail Rehfuss

High School:A 2007 graduate of Shaker High School in Latham, NY, Abby earned seven Varsity letters; three in soccer, four in lacrosse. She earned Suburban Council All-Stars First Team honors all four years, was named to the Albany Times-Union All-Star First Team as a freshman, junior and senior, earned All-Area First Team mention from the Troy Record as a senior, and was an All-America Honorable Mention as a junior and senior. Following her senior season, she also participated in the Under Armour All-American Lacrosse Classic.

Loyola University Maryland Career:2008 (Freshman): Starting every game, Abby capped her first season of collegiate lacrosse with IWLCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team honors. She led the team and was 10th in the BIG EAST in assists (15), was second on Greyhounds in goals (35), points (50), and third on team with 28 draw controls and 17 caused turnovers. Abby had eight multi-goal games during the season and earned WomensLacrosse.com National Rookie of the Week and BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honors during the season.
2009 (Sophomore): Abby was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team after leading the team with 46 draw controls and finishing second on the Greyhounds with 32 goals and 48 total points. She was also tied for third on the team with 16 assists. Abby started all 17 games in the midfield and scored at least one point in all but one. Her 46 draw controls rank sixth in Loyola single-season history. After two seasons, she is 21st all-time at Loyola with 74 career draw controls.

Colleen O'Keefe

Colleen O'Keefe graduated from Oak Knoll in Summit in 2004 where she played attack for the Royals and was an All-American, all state, all division, and all prep lacrosse player and named Oak Knoll's MVP. Attended James Madison University her freshmen year and then transferred to Loyola College her sophomore year. Was a starter each year at Loyola and earned All American Regional honors, selected to the All Big East Team and invited to the North South game. Led the Greyhounds in assists her sophomore and senior year and was selected captain in 2009.

Amy Martin
Amy Martin graduated from Academy of the Sacred Heart outside of Detroit in 2007 as a three-time State Champion and Honorable Mention All-American lacrosse goalie. She continued her career as a four year starter at College of the Holy Cross, graduating in May of 2011. Amy was a senior captain for the Crusaders, was named the 2010 Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year and was a five-time Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week and two-time Defender of the Week. Voted First-Team All Conference as a junior, she helped the Crusaders to the Patriot League Tournament semi-finals where she was named to the All-Tournament team. As a senior Amy was presented with Holy Cross' John Meegan Athletic Achievement Award for outstanding achievement in athletics and was inducted into the Detroit Catholic League Hall of Fame in June of 2011. Upon graduating from Holy Cross with a B.A. in English, Amy moved to New Jersey where she now works as a sports media intern at the Northeast Athletic Conference in Somerset, NJ.
