Magic Travel Teams An outgrowth of the Metro Lacrosse Club is the "Magic" travel team. Within this program, there are 5 rosters of players ranging in age from 12-18. The goal of this year-round program is to provide quality instruction in developing "selected" players with the desire to play and compete at the top levels of the game. These players are training with the goal of playing collegiately in the future. Membership is by invitation. Try-outs are in December of each year. Metro Magic is a member of the Galaxy League, an elite league of East Coast lacrosse clubs. Membership in Galaxy entitles entry priority in the premier "recruiting tournaments." Other member clubs are Skywalkers (Baltimore), CCLax (Chesapeake), M&D Lax (MD, DC, VA), Long Island Yellow Jackets, CNYELC (Upstate NY), Impact Lacrosse (CT), Mass Elite (MA), Albany Elite (Upstate NY), Ultimate Goal & X Team. |
