The purpose of Metro Lacrosse is to provide numerous and continuing opportunities for young women in the NY and NJ area to play the game of lacrosse. This is done through a variety of quality programs including large and small group instruction, clinics, league play, and the option to try-out for Metro Magic Travel Teams.

Outdoor Programs (applications available late Summer)
Fall Ball
Keep your lax skills sharp throughout the offseason with "Fall Ball"! Sign up with your school team or by yourself and come out once a week for a full game. It's a great way to get your team ready for the season. "Fall Ball" is offered at the middle school and high school levels.
Apex "SuperSticks"
In-depth instruction designed to advance your individual skills in the areas of: stick skills, footwork, dodges, and stick protection. Instructed by Metro director and coach, Mary-Lynne McKee, Apex "SuperSticks" is offered in 3 age groups: grades 5 & 6, grades 7 & 8, grades 9-12.
Goalie Apex
GOALIES, learn from an experienced goalie coach and improve your skills in the following areas: Stance, Position and Moving in the Crease, Stepping to the Ball, Stickwork, Clearing, Hand-eye Coordination, Talking and Leading the Defense.
Indoor Programs Offered Oct-Feb (applications available in the Fall)
Score More
Attackers, learn technique and improve your skills in the following areas: shot power, shot selection and placement, how and when to cut, different types of shots. "Score More" is offered at multiple age levels.
Possession
Improve your skills in the areas of: getting open, ball protection, assisting teammates, and defensive play. Instructed by one of Metro's top coaches, Carter Abbott, "Possession" is offered at multiple age levels.
STICKees
5th and 6th graders, brush up your skills in the following areas: stick protection, cutting and getting open, groundballs, dodging, defense, team movement, and more! Instructed by one of Metro's top coaches, Hilary Renna, STICKees is open to ALL 5th/6th graders.

Hil's Drills
Take your defensive game to the next level with "Hil's Drills"! Improve your skills in the areas of: 1v1 defense, off ball defense, denying cutters, double teams, and man-down situations. Instructed by one of Metro's top coaches, Hilary Renna, "Hil's Drills" is offered at multiple age levels.
Magic Tune Up
Get ready for Metro try-outs! Come out the week before tryouts for an intense two hour lacrosse review. Work through some of the drills you will be doing in tryouts while being coached by Metro coaches. "Magic Tune-Up" is offered on Nov. 27th at multiple age levels.
Pixie Sticks
Get a head start on your lacrosse career with Metro Lacrosse's "Pixie Sticks". 3rd ad 4th graders, have fun learning the basics from experienced coaches. Improve your skills in the following areas: catching and throwing, ground balls, cradling, defense, and more! Instructed by Metro's Hilary Renna, "Pixie Sticks" is offered to 3rd and 4th graders at multiple locations and times.
Own The Crease: Keeper Clinic
